Michael’s passion for business is evident in his impressive career. In 1999, he founded the real estate internet portal JustListed.com.au, which he successfully sold to Trader Classified Media in 2003, then the world’s largest classified advertiser. Following his tenure as a senior executive with Trader, Michael returned to the real estate sector in 2006 by acquiring the Sanders business. Under his leadership, the business has grown into one of Sydney’s largest real estate agencies. Michael remains actively involved as the business’s leader, driving its continued success.
Beyond his real estate ventures, Michael is a high achiever in other fields. He began practicing Karate as a child and has dedicated over 40 years to the discipline, achieving the rank of 7th Degree Black Belt and the esteemed title of Kyoshi (Professor). In 2009, he founded The Karate Institute, which has grown into one of Australia’s largest Karate schools. Michael regularly teaches at the Institute and holds various roles within the international organisations.
